June Release Teaser Time Day 1

It's happened again hasn't it?  Another pending release has crept upon us stealth-like, reminding us that this year is still hurtling along at top speed lol

I feel like I'm always apologising for the lack of activity here on the blog (not to mention all the other social media outlets that I ask you to join but then leave unattended like a very bad host!).  I can only reiterate that Clearly Besotted isn't a fully fledged business, but more of a much loved extension of my hobby.  My real job is being a full time Mummy and I am ashamed to admit that I neglected this role when first getting Clearly Besotted up and running.  I made the decision to cut back on the non-essential elements of my beloved business after a very severe ultimatum from my husband several months ago, and blogging and social media was unfortunately part of the cull!  I love that Clearly Besotted is still very small and manageable, and it makes me appreciate my few (but positively treasured) customers and supporters all the more :)  In light of this, I hope you can forgive me for being an absent blogger and understand that it is not a reflection of my immense gratitude and dedication to you all.

I'm feeling a little bit emotional now lol  Right, must pull myself together and get back on track!  There are eight new stamp sets, all with coordinating die collections being released this month, and here are the little teasers...

Two of my absolute favorite (& go-to) guest designers are returning this month - Jo Nevil and Jen Nelson, and as always, I'm super honoured they agreed to help out (at very short notice, might I add!).

Please join me, the Design Team and our marvellous guests over the next few days, while we try our very best to make you smile with our creations!  In the meantime, happy Monday - I hope you have a good one :) xoxo

Hello, having you absent just makes it more exciting when the first of the month comes round. Your family is much more important than blogging or crafting and you must enjoy the children while they are growing up. That stage goes all too fast I can assure you! Looking forward to seeing what's in store... xx Margaret Col.

Stephanie being a full time Mommy is the most important job in the world :)You do a fabulous job of running CB almost single handedly-and the fact that you have ANY left over time to Blog is a major achievement in my opinion!
Gorgeous little teasers as always-looking forward to the full reveal now!
Best wishes,Nessa xxx

Children come first - always. No matter how old they get. As long as we get our CBS fix every month I believe we are all happy too. Love your stamps, your fab service and personality. Just keep doing what you do best :). Hugs, Mette

Having your priorities in the right place is a good thing -- never apologize for that. Kudos to you for it.

No need to apologise at all Stephanie. We love your stuff and the social media can wait. As a full time Mummy myself, it's hard to combine it with anything else. I know I wait patiently (like who am I kidding, I'm counting down the days!!) for the start of the month and you never disappoint. Keep doing what you're doing, and we'll stick around!

No need to apologize for being quiet on the blog...being a Mom is the most important job and that should take priority in your life. Excited to see the new release.

Hello Stephanie.
You don't need to apologise for putting your children and home-life first, there is nothing more important!
I think you are doing a wonderful job in running such a successful business and we are all so grateful for all the inspiration and fabulous products you continue to release.
All the best, hugs Sue xx

I for one understand the pressures of the "real" world and how at times something has to give- be proud that you run CBS as well as be a mum rather than guilty that you can't do it all!!! We all love you and your stamps- that's why we're here and will continue to be! Rebecca x p.s. Looks like another good release, so pleased to see some more teacher stamps- that's just what I need for this time of year! X

Never apologise for being a mummy Stephanie I chose to stay at home when my children were little and child minded to earn some extra pennies. It is worth every minute watching them growing up and time goes so fast. Love the teasers by the way. Hugs xxxx

Children soon grow up so you want to spend as much time as you can with them. Social media is time consuming especially when you get stuck on pinterest and Facebook.

Wow love all these stamp sets. Got my eye on the seaside ones and lots of cute.

Family always has to come first and if it weren't for the family you wouldn't have this great business they keep you motivated and creative at all times. Please don't excuse we all have busy lives and have to make decisions and for us please keep those great stamps coming with or without social media we love, love your little company.

Stephanie, it is your sweetness, your honesty, and your devotion to your family that endears me to this company. Don't get me wrong, I love your stamps, too, but it is posts like this that make me want to buy everything in your store and then some. I think you are marvelous! Looking forward to this new release. I was using some of CB stamps just last week...I love them!

I can't wait to see your beach set. Hoping for something that would incorporate into scrapbook pages about our many beach weeks.

Stephanie, I look at the many small stamp companies that have started in recent years and wonder how any of them sustain the pressure of monthly new releases. I wonder if a 6 releases per year might be more sustainable than 12, both for the company and the customers whose budgets have limits and whose schedules limit just how many blog hops they can follow in a week.

I had a 10 year stint of doing my art as a business, and by the end there was little joy in it. Please don't let that happen to you. Cut where you need to cut. You have a signature style that is unique. Your customers won't forget you.

I absolutely agree with all the lovely and encouraging comments above Stephanie, you are a wonderful woman, mum and wife, I can tell that from how well you run CBS and from the neatness of your packaging and how quickly you send orders out, and always handwrite 'thank you' on every invoices. Your family is most important to you, and this is the way it should be so don't need to apologize to us, although I do miss reading your blog and seeing samples. How about having a blog that your amazing design team ladies can write one or two posts every week? Oh man, you got yourself a most incredible team! Xx
